What 12Collect is

12Collect is an online tool to record, organise and manage your collection, with photos, descriptions and overviews. We provide the service as it is available at any given time.

Beta status

The service is under active development. Features may change, temporarily disappear or work differently, and outages may occur. During the beta we provide the service without warranties. Therefore make your own export of your data regularly (see your account).

The waitlist

Signing up for the waiting list is without obligation and gives no right to access or an account. We will get in touch as soon as registration opens for you.

Your account

For most features you create an account. You are responsible for your login details and for what happens under your account; keep your password secret. Provide a valid email address when registering, you must confirm it before you can use the app. If you suspect misuse of your account, please contact us.

Acceptable use

To keep the service safe and usable for everyone, we ask you to:

• not store or distribute unlawful content;
• only upload content for which you hold the rights (for example your own photos);
• not misuse, overload, circumvent or scrape the service in an automated way;
• respect the rights and privacy of others.

Your content stays yours

The data and photos you put in your collection stay yours. You grant us only the limited right we need to provide the service to you, storing, processing and displaying your data to you. We claim no ownership and do not use your collection for other purposes. You are responsible for what you upload.

AI features and market value

Using AI, 12Collect can offer suggestions for a description, an identification or an indication of the market value. These suggestions are indicative and may contain errors, they are not professional advice, not an appraisal and not a guarantee. A value indication is not an appraisal report; do not base important decisions (such as insurance, buying or selling) on it alone. You always decide yourself what to accept.

Subscriptions and pricing

During the beta, 12Collect is free to use. We are working on paid subscriptions (Plus and Pro) with extra features; these are not yet for sale. Once paid subscriptions become available, we will announce this in advance with the applicable terms and prices, and you decide for yourself whether to use them.

Availability

We do our best to keep the service well available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out maintenance or temporarily disable parts, especially during the beta.

Intellectual property

The name 12Collect, the design, the software and the content of the site (with the exception of your own collection) are owned by the provider of 12Collect. You may not copy or reuse these without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of (or inability to use) the service, including loss of data. This applies in particular during the beta. Make sure to keep a recent export of your important data yourself.

Termination

You can delete your account yourself at any time from your account settings; this erases your data. We may suspend or terminate an account if these terms are violated or if this is necessary for the security of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time, for example when the service changes. The date at the top shows when we last did so. We will let you know of any important changes.

Governing law

Dutch law applies to these terms and to the use of 12Collect. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court.
